Calling all Nintendo DS fans out there. As many of you will no doubt have already upgraded yourselves to the brilliant brand new DSi, please spare a thought for the few of us that are still dangling in the doldrums with the older original version of the handheld console.
Anyway, I’m about to upgrade myself this weekend when I get paid, which means I’ll be joining the dark side all you faithful few (please don’t hate me forever) but I was wondering if I will need to by the newer version of the R4 DS or if I can just stick with the original one that I’ve been using all of this time. Obviously I would much rather prefer to not have to upgrade but if needs must then, well, needs really must.
Initial worry really is, are the two different devices completely compatible with each other or not? And also if there are any genuine benefits or is it just a cash in on Nintendos part. I will of course still be buying it either way if I have to but...just sayin’
